These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Embedded (“the Bot,” “we,” or “us”) on the Discord platform. By inviting or using the Bot in any Discord server or through any interaction, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Bot, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required to use Discord in your jurisdiction) and have the authority to agree to these Terms, either for yourself or on behalf of a Discord server you manage.

2. Use of the Bot

Permitted Use: You may use the Bot for its intended purposes, such as providing rich embeds to popular social media links within Discord servers where you have permission to invite or use the Bot.
Prohibited Use: You agree not to:
- Use the Bot for illegal activities or to violate Discord’s Terms of Service.
- Overload or abuse the Bot’s systems, including through excessive command usage or malicious behavior.
- Use the Bot to collect or distribute personal information without authorization.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for any content or actions performed through your use of the Bot.
You must ensure that your use of the Bot complies with Discord’s Community Guidelines and any applicable server rules.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account and any server where the Bot is used.

4. Bot Functionality and Availability

No Warranty: The Bot is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Bot will be available, error-free, or suitable for your specific needs.
Updates and Changes: We may update, modify, or discontinue the Bot or its features at any time without notice. We are not liable for any resulting loss or inconvenience.
Downtime: The Bot may experience downtime due to maintenance, technical issues, or other factors. We are not responsible for any disruptions.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Embedded and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Bot, including but not limited to data loss, server disruptions, or account bans.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Bot for any user or server at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms, abuse, or illegal activity.
You may stop using the Bot at any time by removing it from your Discord server or ceasing interaction with it.

7. Third-Party Services

The Bot operates on Discord’s platform, and your use of Discord is subject to Discord’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of Discord or other third-party services.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Bot’s functionality or legal requirements. The updated Terms will be posted here with the effective date. Continued use of the Bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
